6′ x 16′ Utility Trailer
Our 6′ x 16′ Utility Trailer has an open flatbed for easier loading and unloading. It is a popular option for furniture, appliances, lawn equipment, landscaping materials, building supplies, ATVs, and other bulky items.

6′ x 10′ Dump Trailer or 6′ x 14′ Dump Trailer
If the job involves sand, mulch, topsoil, gravel, rock, scrap, or building materials, a dump trailer can save serious time and labor. Its hydraulic bed raises to help unload the material.
Rental Stop offers 6′ x 10′ and 6′ x 14′ Dump Trailers. They can also be used with Rental Stop’s heavy-duty driveable ramps for certain small to medium-sized equipment.
These trailers require a full-size truck, are for local use only, and cannot be used for wet concrete.
6′ x 12′ Enclosed Cargo Trailer
When your load needs protection from rain, wind, or road debris, our 6′ x 12′ Enclosed Cargo Trailer may be the better choice. It works well for appliances, furniture, camping gear, sporting equipment, college moves, and other items you do not want exposed.
The enclosed design adds privacy and security for valuable or high-theft items. The rear door opening is 73 inches high and 59 inches wide, so measure before loading. This trailer is for local use only.
6′ x 18′ Car Hauler Trailer
Our 6′ x 18′ Car Hauler Trailer is for vehicles that fit within its measurements and weight limits. It has an 8,000-pound capacity and is for local use only. Straps are available for an additional rental charge.
Which Dolly Will Make Your Move Easier?
A trailer gets the load from one place to another, while a dolly helps move it without carrying every pound by hand. The right dolly saves time, reduces strain, and gives you better control.
Box Dolly
The Box Dolly is a two-wheel hand truck for stacked boxes, cartons, totes, and smaller furniture. It has an 800-pound capacity and a nose plate extension for larger items.
If you are moving several boxes, it can reduce trips and keep the job moving.
Appliance Dolly
Moving a refrigerator, washer, dryer, or stove? Choose the Appliance Dolly. It has an 800-pound capacity, protective pads, and a heavy-duty strap to help secure the appliance.
A Box Dolly and an Appliance Dolly are not the same. For a tall, heavy item, the added strap and support make a big difference.
4 Wheel Flat Dolly 18″ x 30″
The 4 Wheel Flat Dolly has a low, carpeted platform for furniture, file cabinets, appliances, and other bulky items. Its swivel casters move easily across smooth, flat surfaces, and it holds up to 900 pounds.
For long furniture, you may be able to use two flat dollies, one under each end. Balance and secure the item before moving it.
Platform Dolly
The Platform Dolly is a larger flat-deck cart with a handle. It works well for multiple boxes, office supplies, tools, furniture, equipment, or bulky materials on a smooth surface.
The handle provides steering control, while the flat deck makes loading easier. It is especially helpful for office moves, warehouse work, and moving several items at once.
Stair Climbing Dolly
Rental Stop’s Stair Climbing Dolly helps move appliances, furniture, HVAC units, safes, and other heavy items up or down stairs with greater control.
This specialized dolly holds up to 1,500 pounds. Talk with our team about the item and the stairs before renting it, because correct setup and operation are important.
Towing Basics Before You Leave Rental Stop
“Can my truck pull this?” The answer depends on your vehicle, the trailer, and the total loaded weight.
Check your tow capacity. Review your owner’s manual and manufacturer information. Do not base the decision on truck size alone. Engine, drivetrain, axle ratio, hitch rating, and other equipment can change the capacity of similar-looking vehicles.
Make sure you have the right hitch. All Rental Stop trailers use a standard 2-inch ball hitch. We will hitch swap with you for a small rental fee if your hitch, height or rating is the wrong size. Our team can confirm the correct hitch information with you.
Connect and test the lights. Rental Stop connects the trailer lights to your vehicle’s electrical system, then we will test the brake lights, turn signals, and running lights before you leave.
Plan for a different drive. A loaded trailer changes your turning radius, stopping distance, and handling. Slow down, leave extra following distance, avoid sudden maneuvers, and take wider turns.
Load It Right
A properly loaded and secured trailer helps protect your load and everyone on the road.
- Place heavier items in the front half of the trailer, ahead of the axle, while staying within the trailer and hitch limits.
- Use properly rated ratchet straps or tie-downs instead of bungee cords.
- Secure anything that could roll, slide, tip, or blow out of the trailer.
- Recheck the hitch, safety connections, lights, and tie-downs after the first few miles and throughout the trip.
- Never exceed the trailer’s rated capacity or your vehicle’s towing limits.

The morning starts sunny. By mid-afternoon the sky turns that strange green color. Your phone starts buzzing with weather alerts. And then the wind hits.
Texas severe weather season is not subtle. Between high winds, hail, flash flooding, and the occasional tornado warning, storm prep here is just part of life.
The National Weather Service defines a severe thunderstorm as producing winds over 58 mph or hail one inch in diameter or larger. That sounds technical, but in real life that means patio furniture flying, shingles missing, and tree limbs everywhere. (Source: National Weather Service)
